Whiteline Television are putting a Call out for truckie partners as we are looking to produce a web based documentary on the life of a true blue truckies partner. We are seeking a group of partners who would like to ‘tell their story’ for the benefit of our industry but more importantly for the benefit of other partners. It is a fly on the wall yet respectful style of production to showcase what it is like to be married or partnered to an Aussie truckie in 2018. We want to showcase the positives of course and also, if there are any, the negatives of raising the family alone for the most part, dealing with the day to day, goals and aspirations.
They talk about truckies being tough, hard working and full of grit and determination well, we believe that some of the partners at home have it just as tough only in a different way.
The team at Whiteline Television are truck drivers, Sarah, the Producer and reporter on this project is also the wife of an Australian interstate truckie and is very keen to showcase this project.
We believe the Truckies partners have an enormous job at home and have probably the toughest job of all. They talk about truckies being tough, hard working and full of grit and determination well, we believe that some of the partners at home have it just as tough only in a different way.
If you think you have what it takes, we’d love to hear from you. Simply send Sarah an email with a brief description outlining a bit about yourself and Sarah will get back to you as soon as she can.
Unfortunately because of travel constraints, we need to keep it to NSW, ACT and North East Victoria for this one but we have intentions of expanding to other states for another one.
